The Human Campus expands with the Atelier
On December 10, the Atelier, the renovated building on Vlamovenweg, on the Brainport Human Campus was officially opened. A unique building where both Driessen Groep companies and external companies come together. An incubator for professionals operating in the domain of people & work.
For professionals, by professionals
The metamorphosis of the existing building was taken up with Hal2 ruimtevormgevers from Eindhoven, which has already furnished several Driessen Groep premises together with us. They put together a creative design team especially for this project. Young professionals in the fields of architecture, interior design, public space, product design and graphic design worked with Driessen Groep on the concept. Together with the contractor (Bouwbedrijf Rooijakkers from Helmond) this resulted in a special and unique elaboration.
Connection is key
The Atelier has a connecting function on the Human Campus. It is a beehive where young professionals and business in the field of people & work come together and where new ideas and initiatives arise. The Atelier is part of the campus but has its own identity, as do the other buildings. The building has about 80 workplaces, divided into several office spaces, and about six meeting or training rooms that can also accommodate about 70 people.
Work and relax
The atmosphere is relaxed and inspiring. An atmosphere that invites you to meet. You feel this especially in the market square, where not only the high ceiling and small stand stands out, but certainly also the espresso bar Jan & Koek. An espresso bar where residents of the Brainport Human Campus can take in a freshly prepared cup of coffee & tea and homemade cookies. The bar is run in cooperation with ORO, making it a valuable day service for people for whom an independent position in the labor market is not obvious.

In addition to several Driessen Groep companies, external companies are also moving into the Atelier. The preparation and realization took 2.5 years. We are proud of the wonderful result and of the mix of companies working here. A particularly valuable addition to the Brainport Human Campus.
