Our journey to sustainable work happiness

Since November 2024, we can officially call ourselves a 'B Corporation'! This international certification is for companies that make a real impact on people, the environment and society. We are proud that our entire family of companies has achieved this certification. This shows that we are leading in corporate social responsibility, together with great companies like Patagonia, Dopper, Fastned and Rituals.

Driessen has proudly achieved PSO ladder step 2 and is now among the top 22.5% best performing companies in its size class in terms of employment of people with a vulnerable employment position. As a temporary employment agency, Driessen is committed to work happiness, also for people for whom work cannot be taken for granted, and thus makes a real difference in the labor market.

We again achieve CSR performance ladder certification, this time at step 4! This is a great confirmation of our ongoing commitment to CSR. With Step 4, we show that we are among the top 25% of the market in the CSR themes relevant to us and that we are developing initiatives that contribute to solving societal challenges. We are launching our sustainable mobility policy, encouraging employees to choose sustainable transport options, such as electric lease cars, (electric) bicycles and public transport. Employees will also receive higher compensation if they choose sustainable options.

We are proud to receive the Green Plume, a valuable recognition of our commitment to sustainability. This award confirms that we are on the right track and encourages us to further realize our sustainable ambitions.

We are installing 491 solar panels on our building 'The Market', an important step in making our operations more sustainable and further reducing our carbon emissions. All the electricity we have to buy is 100% green.

On May 25, the Learning Lab opened at the Brainport Human Campus, in collaboration with Fontys Hogescholen Eindhoven, ROC ter AA, OMO Scholengroep Helmond and the Municipality of Helmond. The Learning Lab is a unique collaboration between students, educational and governmental institutions and (social) organizations, aimed at stimulating learning happiness and accelerating innovations in the region.

Together with the Driessen Foundation, we are launching the Strong at Work program. This program helps people who find it harder to find work, so that they too can participate in the labor market sustainably.

We are opening the Jan&Koek coffee bar at the Brainport Human Campus, where people with employment challenges work. In cooperation with care provider ORO, we are creating a special place here where the most delicious delicacies are baked and served with great passion.

We are opening the Brainport Human Campus in Helmond! This green and inspiring site is a place where people and work come together. Besides Driessen Groep and its companies, you will find about 30 other organizations from education, government and business here. The campus grounds are sustainably designed, with much attention to biodiversity and smart solutions to reduce our ecological footprint. Here we work together on innovations for the labor market of tomorrow.

The gas-free and circular building 'The Atelier' opens its doors. This building is designed to consume less energy and uses as many reusable materials as possible, contributing to a more sustainable commercial building.

We are installing 312 solar panels on the roofs of the buildings 'The Brink' and 'The Atelier'. With this we are contributing to clean energy and helping to reduce our CO2 emissions.

We are opening Korein Kinderopvang in our building 'De Brink'. This daycare provides a safe and stimulating environment for children while supporting our colleagues in combining work and home life, in a sustainable and healthy working environment.

We are launching the Stappenchallenge! With this, we encourage employees to live healthier lives and be physically active. It not only promotes the well-being of our employees, but also contributes to a healthy and sustainable work culture.

For years we have been doing our part by supporting various initiatives and charities. The growth of our organization, makes it possible to do even more for the world around us. From this thought and the passion for 'people and work' we start the Driessen Foundation. Our goal is to make work happiness possible, also for people for whom it is not self-evident.
