Brainport Human Campus, the source of work happiness
In Helmond, the heart of the Brainport region, the Driessen Groep companies and initiatives and numerous other tenants are located at Brainport Human Campus. But the campus is much more than just a workplace; it is an inspiring location where people, work and society come together. Here, organizations, education and government work together on innovative and social (HR) solutions that shape the labor market of tomorrow. Here, people are central.
Encouraging meetings
Brainport Human Campus is all about people. Because being together inspires, motivates and connects you will find all kinds of places on campus to spar and network. The brasseries, terraces and market square are spontaneous meeting places. This is where the ideas arise that address social (HR) challenges and contribute to talent development, inclusiveness and sustainable employability.
The campus also serves as an event location, where, among others, our own event company Sprank deploys events as a powerful HR tool. Because personal encounter and mutual connection is the spark that sets people and organizations in motion.
A workplace that feels like home
If you're doing well at home, you'll notice it at work. And if you feel at work like you do at home, you are more productive, motivated, and happier at work. That's why Brainport Human Campus brings home and work together. For example, new mothers can use a comfortable lactation room and parents bring their children to the indoor Korein daycare center. And anyone seeking a moment of peace will find it in the reflection room. These people-oriented facilities are an extension of our mission: to create a working world in which people are central.
Sustainable environment
Those who work and live in a green environment feel healthier, fitter, and less stressed. Green promotes work happiness. From trees to gravel, the entire outdoor area is laid out ecologically and according to biophilic design. This aims to strengthen the bond between people and nature. More than 800 solar panels provide sufficient energy, and the Atelier building is even completely energy-neutral. You will learn all about sustainability on campus during our Sustainability Trail on the outdoor grounds, which you can walk independently at any time.
Smart and sustainable workplaces
With more than 30 organizations working on campus, there is a tremendous amount of knowledge on hand. And that knowledge is shared. Through interactions among colleagues, collaborations between campus residents, and through knowledge sessions or conferences. Because that too is a way of connecting. The professional spaces support this mission perfectly. From meeting rooms equipped with screens and audio to a real theater. With traditional offices, modern office gardens and quiet workplaces, the campus offers a versatile work environment. So, plug and play!
Social engagement
Our campus is a platform for initiatives that promote work happiness and have social impact. Through talent development and collaboration between educational institutions, organizations and government, we take concrete steps towards an inclusive and sustainable labor market. That is why we give a stage to initiatives that contribute to greater work happiness for society. We would like to highlight two of these wonderful initiatives here.
The social coffee bar Jan&Koek is the beating heart of the campus and is staffed by people with employment challenges. In cooperation with care provider ORO, Brainport Human Campus is giving form and substance to this special place where the tastiest joys are baked and served with passion and pleasure.
